Unguided MiniTours

All Unguided MiniTours include:

There is no guide, so you can depart when you choose and go at your own pace without a group, follow the map, and arrive for a group lunch with other Americaders. All mileages shown are total round-trip. All Americade Activities run rain or shine.

ImageBrunch On the Lake: Tour around the perimeter of beautiful Lake George stopping at several scenic photo spots and then enjoy a gorgeous lakeside view from the brunch destination resort. Have your camera handy! Feast on endless pancakes, eggs, chicken ala king, crumb cake & apple cobbler from 10 to 11am. Apprx. 90 miles r-t.

Mountain &/or Market: Ride up Mt. Equinox Skyline Drive, the steepest, longest (5.2 mi.) privately owned paved toll road in the USA (at discounted $5/bike rate). Great views ! If your passenger prefers it, we’ve arranged a pre-mountain drop-off option in the center of nearby Manchester VT, known for its picturesque shopping district. This dropoff point is also our noontime lunch location, a great steak house with a fabulous choice of entrees. Apprx 130 miles r-t.

Dual Sport Adk Ramble: Adirondack secondary roads & dirt trails lead you to a hearty lunch at a cozy Inn tucked away in the wilderness. (This lunch site can be reached via optional asphalt roads as well.) Three choices to return; quick n’ easy (1hr), reverse route (3+hrs) or gnarly dirt trails (4+ hrs.& requires a trail pass at extra cost). Thursday & Friday only.
