AMERICADE 2010 - Mixed Weather and Still Good Attendance

Americaders "enjoyed" a little of every kind of weather this year, and the event ran like clockwork as always.
Despite the fact that major events preceding Americade had reported significant decreases in attendance, by week's end Americade 2010 nearly matched the near-record attendance of 2009. Even early in the week, the parking lots for Americade’s two trade shows, TourExpo Beach, and TourExpo Forum, were filled with bikes, trikes and sidecars of all varieties. Several TourExpo vendors reported record and near-record sales.
A total of 14 motorcycle and trike manufacturers offered demo rides, and dozens of boat cruises and minitours put smiles on the faces of thousands of Americaders.
According to Americade Founder, Bill Dutcher, "we're all very happy how smoothly the week went. Once again, riders came from all corners of North America, and this year from as far away as Australia. Sure, we'd have loved last year's 100% sunny weather, but all in all, it was a great Americade, creating thousands of memories, as well as a great start to the riding season in the NorthEast."
