Certified Instructors Diane Ortiz and George Tranos have been involved in training and safety education for over 25 years. As motorcycle journalists and photographers they have road and track tested an array of motorcycles for various publications including Newsday, Midwest Motorcyclist, LI Pulse, Accelerate, Full Throttle and WomenRidersNow.com. They have presented seminars on various aspects of motorcycling at the International Motorcycle Show and other venues, and have won local and national awards. Diane was one of the "Dirty Dozen" riders in the Adventure for the Cures dual sport ride in Colorado last August and is the president and founder of the Big Apple Motorcycle School, a motorcycle safety training and education organization in New York State.
