There is no guide, so you can depart when you choose and go at your own pace without a group, follow the map, and arrive for a group lunch with other Americaders.
All mileages shown are total round-trip. All Americade Activities run rain or shine.
Raquette Lake Scenic Boat: It got top food ratings last year, for the 3rd year in a row! You’ll head northwest through the beautiful Adirondacks to a scenic noontime cruise on peaceful Raquette Lake, past Great Camps of the rich ‘n famous. Their walnut-paneled dining room matches the elegant lunch served on china plates, which includes Beef Stroganoff over egg noodles, Chicken Fra Diablo, Apple Crisp a la mode, and more. 190 miles round-trip.

Reservoir Ramble: This new MiniTour features a beautiful ride, SW through the Adirondack Park. Follow the winding route around Great Sacandaga Lake. Photo opps galore. Half way around this 29 mile-long reservoir, you’ll enjoy a tasty lunch at a nice restaurant located right on the water. Your meal will be an Italian feast including Grilled Chicken Breast and much more. On the route back, you’ll have an exciting route across the end of a high dam where the Sacandaga cascades down below. 109 miles round-trip.

Vermont's High Gaps: A revised all-pavement route takes you past Lake Champlain’s new Crown Ptoint Bridge project and across 2 of VT’s famous winding mountain “Gaps”. It even includes a piece of Vermont’s famous Rte 100, enroute to a classic Vermont Inn. A delicious noontime lunch awaits you there, including Wild Hog Wings (pork), Penne Pasta w/Marinara sauce, Beer Battered Fish & Chips, Red potato salad, and Cheesecake w/strawberry topping. Great riding & photo opps. 211 miles round-trip.

Western Trails: New for 2010, try our shortest MiniTour. It takes you on a scenic 77 mile circle including a ride across a unique bridge over raging rapids rushing into the Hudson River. The route returns to a Lake George region Western-Theme Ranch. In their rustic restaurant you’ll chow down on BBQ chicken, Pulled Pork, salads, desserts and lots’a trimmin’s. No one leaves hungry. Try their optional attractions, including wagon-rides and horse riding, on their trail system, a shooting gallery and lots more activities. 77 miles round-trip.
