Diane Ortiz is president of the Big Apple Motorcycle School in Hicksville, NY. She is a certified instructor and regular contributor to Full Throttle, Midwest Motorcyclist, Accelerate and Newsday. Diane loves to ride all types of motorcycles on the street and on the track. Her focus is on motorcycle safety and education and she has given seminars at dealerships, libraries and schools on the subject.

Denise Carey hails from League City, Texas a suburb of Houston. Presently Denise's main ride is a 2008 Ultra-Classic Harley-Davidson which weighs in at 814 pounds, dry weight. Over ten years of riding, Denise has logged more than 100,000 miles on a variety motorcycles including a Big Bear 300 sled (a bright orange, 100 cubic inch chopper.) As an RN and Accident Scene Management Instructor, Denise has much to offer in the arenas of riding, safety, and how to deal a whole lot of situations out on the road.
