Biography

Clement began his two-wheeled life by peddling his Schwinn around MA. At 16 he scratched up enough money for a used NSU 250, and took his first long (2000 mile) trip at 17. After college & the Army, in ‘73 he packed his few possessions on the back of a BMW R75/5 and spent the next three years riding around the world. Then, broke and with a suspiciously brief resume, he was offered a job at a motorcycle magazine in 1980.
